It is opened in the year 2002.It offer studies in various pure and applied baranches of natural science.
There are 3 Departments:
- Department of Biotechnology
There are three areas of concentrations: Food, Environmental and Marine Biotechnology.
- Department of Biomedical Science
There are five areas of concentration: Environmental Health, Clinical and Pharmaceutical Research, Tele-health, Industrial Health and Biomedical & Diagnostic Technology.
- Department of Computational and Theoretical Scince
There are six areas of concentration: Computational Mathematics, Optics, Operational Research, Statistics, Financial Mathematics and Pure Mathematics.
Students who join the Kulliyyah of Science must complete 12 credit hours of University Required Courses and 6 credit hours of English courses offered by the Centre for Languages and Pre-University Academic Development (CELPAD). Students are also required to undergo 3 credit hours of co-curriculum activities.
In addition to the University Required Courses, candidates must take Computer in Science and Principles & Practice of Management courses as kulliyyah requirements.
